Lenny and the Ants is a fun story for children of all ages.  Go on a journey with Lenny the Roo to discover a whole new way to think about food.  Written by Jessica Chapnik Kahn, with fun illustrations by Matthew Martin, Lenny and the Ants helps us think about food in different, creative ways. It’s estimated that one third of all food produced is lost or wasted, so don’t forget to check out the recipes at the back of the book to find out what you can make with those floppy carrots in the bottom of the fridge.

Grow, Eat, Compost and Repeat is a series of food, gardening and composting workshops, displays and activities supported by Brisbane City Council during May to celebrate International Compost Awareness Week.

Delivered in partnership with Brisbane City Council – Waste Education Team and Oz Harvest.
