Composting 101 with Subpod

This workshop is aimed to inspire a passion for soil, the earth and growing food.
We’ll explore the wonderful wriggly world of worms and provide everything a person needs to know to start composting today – or up their composting game. With specialist speakers from backgrounds to teach you best practices in growing food and composting, we’ll get our hands dirty with the nitty gritty of what makes soil tick.

At the end of the day we want everyone who participates in the workshops to go home with a drive to get involved, become a part of the loop that is needed to get our soils flourishing and fed. If we can do that, we can feed the soil – and feed the world.

Subpod is an in-ground compost system and worm farm.
Compost worms and microbes live inside Subpod and turn all the materials you feed them (food scraps, paper, leaves, sawdust, etc) into rich compost. Over time, nutrients from the compost will feed your garden soil and help your plants thrive.

See you in the Farmhouse at The Farm Byron Bay 🙂
