Drop in and learn more about organic recycling. Find out how to turn kitchen scraps into rich nutrients for your garden. The workshop teaches you benefits and strategies for creating and maintaining organic composting systems.

Grow, Eat, Compost and Repeat is a series of food, gardening and composting workshops, displays and activities supported by Brisbane City Council during May to celebrate International Compost Awareness Week.

Requirements: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site. Note – activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
